Founded in 2021, The Rusted Shack Nursery and Greenhouse started with locally grown produce and quickly expanded into growing unique hanging baskets and annuals. Due to its success, we now offer a full garden center with trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, soil, and more—all tailored to thrive in Eureka’s harsh high desert climate.   • The Rusted Shack—what a vision Lynn Conley and her engineer husband Russell had a few years ago when they designed, built and outfitted a self-sustaining greenhouse that doesn’t freeze in our cold, high desert winters and allows them to get a head-start on planting flowers and veggies for their own enjoyment and even better, for us living in this isolated community. We no longer have to travel at least 100 miles for bedding plants!
